The short version

We do not receive, store or transmit anything you type into these tools. Word lists, children's names, gift wishes and questionnaire answers never leave your device.

What stays in your browser

Every tool on this site builds its output using JavaScript running on your own device. When you type words into a word search or a name into a Santa letter, that text is used to draw the page and is then discarded. It is not sent to a server, saved to a database, or written to a file we can see.

This also means that if you reload or close the page, what you typed is gone. Print or save your result before you close the tab.

Information we do collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you request a page — such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and to understand which pages are being used. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and advertising

This site currently shows no advertising and sets no advertising cookies.

If that changes, we may display advertisements served by third parties. Third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense, may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

Children's privacy

Our printable tools are designed for family and classroom use, and some involve typing a child's name. Because that information never leaves the user's device, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and teachers should note that printed materials are theirs to manage.
